We’re collaborating again this year with Out To Swim Bristol! First come, first served. Free to attend.
If you want the chance to swim in a fully queer and trans-inclusive space, and can swim 100 metres front crawl, come along and see if it’s for you.
Out To Swim Bristol sessions are designed to focus on fitness and there’s also lots of opportunities to make friends.
Within the group, there’s a wide range of swimming experience and different body shapes.
The team will meet you at the pool, show you the changing facilities and be with you when you’re ready to get in the pool. They'll be on hand to help you interpret things like acronyms and lane etiquette.
The University of Bristol Swimming Pool only offers binary, gendered changing facilities. You’re encouraged to use the changing area that you feel most comfortable in. Both pools have open changing and private cubicles and there are accessible areas available.
The University of Bristol lockers require a padlock to ensure your belongings are secure.
Wear what you’re comfortable in, swimming trunks or swimming costumes are some of the best options.
Book to attend - select Waitlist - Bristol Swimming, fill in your details and at the final question, What would you like to get out of joining Out to Swim West?, mention that you want to come to the Trans Pride Bristol session. There are 15 spaces available.
