We’re really excited to be collaborating with Bristol’s Queer Cycling Club for the first time!
Queer Cycling Club organise social bike rides for the queer community around Bristol - and beyond. And it’s proudly trans-run. Hop on your bike and give a cycle around east Bristol and Saltford a go!
The planned Saltford Loop will take around 2 and a half hours on a cycle path and quiet roads to Saltford, and then back on the Bristol and Bath Railway Path. You’ll need to have access to a bike as there won’t be any to loan for the day.
For around 40 metres of the loop, you’ll need to get off your bike and push it. The route is almost completely flat and there will be a lunch stop by the river in Saltford.
If you’re relatively fit and active, you shouldn’t have any issues with this route - it’s been designed so that as many people as possible can come along.
Take a look at the planned route on Komoot.
